Im Bühnensetting von Hearth spüren Choreografin Magdalena Forster und Milena Georgieva (Komposition und Live-Sound) mit den Teilnehmer*innen der metamorphen Qualität des Erzes nach und bieten Einblicke in Mystik und Semantik rund um das Schmiedehandwerk. Spielerisch nähert sich der Workshop diesen Thematiken mit choreografischen Bewegungsmustern, durch die Arbeit mit Stimme, Material und Klang und die multisensorische Erfahrung von Vibration und Resonanz. Für die Teilnahme sind keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich.

Magdalena Forster ist Choreografin und Performerin. Ihre Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Intimität und Beziehungen zu Material, Skulptur, Klang und Körper. Sie geht auf Räume mit intuitiver Neugier ein und spielt mit dem Potenzial des Unvorhersehbaren. Forster hat eine Vorliebe für Details und befasst sich mit persönlicher Dokumentation und kinetischen Archiven, um ein Gefühl von Verankerung und Zugehörigkeit neu zu codieren. Ihre Stücke wurden u. a. im Tanzquartier Wien, im Kunstraum Niederoesterreich, im Kunsthaus Zürich, im Angewandte Interdisciplinary Lab und beim Sonic Territories Festival präsentiert.

Milena Georgieva, geboren in Sofia und in Wien lebend, ist Komponistin und transdisziplinäre Künstlerin Ihre Forschung beschäftigt sich mit Klang, Symbiose, Landschaftstheorie, Queer-Feminismus, Identitätspolitik und aktuell mit Interspezies- und interspatialen Beziehungen. In ihren Kompositionen sucht sie nach einem fließenden, ungebundenen Sinn für Musik und Hören und überschreitet Genres, um multidimensionale Klangkörper zu entwickeln. Georgieva tritt auch unter dem Pseudonym Yuzu auf. Milena Georgieva is a composer and transdisciplinary artist born in Sofia and based in Vienna. Currently, her work delves into interspecies and inter-spatial relationships, exploring sound, symbiosis, landscape theory, queer feminism, and identity politics. In her compositions, she seeks a fluid, unbound sense of music and listening, activating complex and multidimensional sound bodies by interlacing diverse genres and musical practices. Georgieva also performs under the moniker Yuzu.
